About Us

Breaking the silence on infertility in Uganda.

Rainbow Hearts Foundation (RHF) was established in 2021 in response to a deeply personal journey through infertility, and the realization that too many individuals and couples were navigating similar paths in silence.

Infertility is a significant yet often misunderstood public health issue in Uganda. Beyond medical treatment, it carries profound emotional, social, and financial consequences. Stigma, isolation, and limited access to accurate information or supportive systems often compound the burden for those affected.

Rainbow Hearts Foundation exists to break that silence. We are committed to raising awareness, providing psychosocial support, and advocating for inclusive, accessible fertility care. Through community outreach, support groups, stakeholder engagement, public campaigns, and policy dialogue, we work to ensure that infertility is recognized not only as a medical condition, but as a matter of dignity, wellbeing, and equity.

Since our founding, we have organized community awareness programs in marginalized communities, launched the Annual Fertility Walk, convened the Breaking the Silence Symposium, and built partnerships with healthcare institutions and policymakers to strengthen reproductive health frameworks.

At the heart of our work is a simple belief: no one should face infertility alone. By fostering understanding, compassion, and collective action, we are building a future where fertility journeys are met with support rather than stigma, and where hope is strengthened through community.
